We are mailing to update you on the developments in this important and
exciting event in the archaeological calendar. Please forward as
appropriate.
The Fifth Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists
will be held in the UK at Bournemouth University from 14th - 19th
September 1999.
Preparations for the meeting are progressing well. There are now over
60 planned academic sessions, a full range of social activities,
excursions and a major exhibition.
Full details of the meeting and a registration form are available from
the www site at:
http://csweb.bournemouth.ac.uk/consci/eaa99/
You will see that the topics are diverse and should provide something to
satisfy the curiosity of anyone interested in archaeology in Europe (and
further afield!).
Papers are invited for accepted sessions; please contact the relevant
session organizer direct if you have something to offer. All the
details are on the regularly updated www site. Of particular interest
may be the session 'The history of archaeology'.
