I am preparing to investigate a utopian socialist colony (occupied
1914-1917+) called Llano del Rio in the California Desert and wonder if
anyone else has conducted archaeological testing/data recovery at sites of
this type. I'm particularly interested in the types of research themes
others have used to focus their work at such colonies.  Thanks for any
