My goodness, these pediatricians can be so thick!  All they would have to do
is go to Lawrence and look at the information.  There are no immunologic
factors which disappear at 6 months.  (Interesting they pick six months, eh?
Another example of can't think, have to measure.)  In fact some of the
immune factors are present in greater amounts in the second year than in the
first.

Check also my handout called Breastfeed a Toddler--why on earth on the
websites below.  No references, just a point of view.  Figures that a
pediatrician can't understand that there is something intrinsically
different between drinking from a bottle and drinking from the breast.
"There is more to breastfeeding than breastmilk".

By the way, it is up to the pediatricians who say there is nothing important
in breastmilk after six months to back up such an absurd statement.  "There
is nothing important in a pediatrician's mind after he gets his
specialization certificate".  Prove otherwise!
