Yes, I hate these things too because I can just see the headlines screaming:
"Carcinogens found in breast milk" while the recommendation that BM is "still"
best is lost somewhere in the fine print! They say that the devil is in the
details but in this instance, the "angel" is in the details! <g>
When these studies hit the newsstands, I spend a lot of time reassuring moms
and explaining and explaining and explaining. Just like several years ago
when some "stupid" study suggested that the consumption of hotdogs by children
was linked with leukemia and then the kicker, consumption of hotdogs by the
father could cause leukemia in his children regardless of the child's diet!
Gimme a break!
Yellow journalism at its finest, eh?
