I'm afraid I have to agree with every other source, the presence of cocaine in
breastmilk is very toxic. Even taking into account the babies age at seven and
a half months it might get quite a dose - the amount in milk compared to
plasma is high.
Altho this childs enzyme system is quite mature it may not be as efficient as
an adult. reports of presence in baby's blood for 60 hours reported with
respiratory distress. Maybe it's hard to deny the baby the milk it wants but
in this situation the risk isnt really justifiable. Sorry.
