The local free parenting newspaper came home from school today. They have a
page called "Just for Women" and 1/4 of that page is an orange block titled
"October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month" There are 9 dates
listed as "dates to remember", there are seminars on breast cancer
awareness, one on surviving breast cancer, one on detection and there are
three listings for breastfeeding information, 2 classes sponsored by
hospitals and LLL.
It is the first time I have seen breastfeeding references under breast
cancer awareness.
