Maureen, our major O and G teaching hospital in WA - King
Edward, has said not to use GV.  Not because of the carcinogenic
concern, rather a whole ream of other side effects including
tracheitis and mouth ulcers.  It is incredibly difficult to get it or to
find anyone in support of its use in WA.  Luckily the LCs that are
GPs can still use it, they can prescribe it.  I can't get in anyone in
my area to prescribe it and the pharmacies won't stock it.
