I attended a wonderful lecture by Jack Newman in the San Francisco Bay Area
and he talked about jaundice and glucose water (for dehydration under
phototherapy lights). Nurses are SCREAMING at me that I am even suggesting
that jaundiced babies not get formula but rather pumped breastmilk or glucose
water. They have reported me to the pediatricians. I have to face them
Friday the 13th! Any references I might use? TIA. Loni Denman RN, IBCLC
