Hi All,
Here is a good one for you to gnaw on:
Mom has a 3 yr old with a constant rash on his bottom. Has already been
determined that it is not yeast, excema, or reaction to detergents. Said 3
yr old is very allergic to dairy.
Mom also has 16 mo old, not allergic to dairy, so mom does not eliminate
dairy from her diet.
Both children are in diapers (cloth) and use the same diapers every day.
(There are no seperate diapers for the 3 yr old that are different from the
16 mo olds.)
Here is the question:
Could the dairy in the 16 mo olds diet (from breastmilk) that comes out in
his stools and urine cause an allergic reaction for the 3 yr old (the rash
on his bottom), through the wearing of the same diapers?
TIA!
Jay
