I'm looking for more information on two drugs: neurontin (gabapentin)
and gabatril (tiagabine). Mom had a significant seizure shortly after
birth of the baby (now 6 mos old, 15 lbs, mostly breastfed), and has now
been given a choice between these two drugs. The first is listed in
Hale-- not reviewed, no info on transfer into human milk; the second was
not listed. Briggs has same first info and none on the second. Nothing
in the archives.

Anyone on the list, or Dr. Tom or Anne, that can shed additional light
on this decision?

TIA,
Lisa Marasco, BA, IBCLC
