I am looking for a Lactation Consultant in Europe who would be close enough
to give hands-on help to the English-speaking mother of a premie living in Prague,
Czechoslovakia.
The baby, born 11 weeks early, has had multiple problems, but is now ready
to go home as soon as the doctors are satisfied that he can breastfeed
satisfactorily. He received only his own mother's milk, tube-fed, up until two weeks
ago. Because of a heart problem, he tires easily at the breast, and is currently
being supplemented with an SNS both with EBM (via a PIS) and milk from a milk bank.
If you can help,(or know somebody who can,) please e-mail me privately. The
family has access to both e-mail and a mobile phone, and they are determined to make
this work.
