Jane -- I don't know of any studies on this -- does anyone else? However, I
do know that I have seen it, particularly with women who have to go "over the
top" to get pregnant (in-vitro, GIFT, etc). Not always -- some of these
ladies produce quite a lot of milk and do fine. But some simply don't. It's
a question I always ask, just so I can tick it off as one of my red flags and
watch them more closely.
