I received a catalog in the mail yesterday, selling the usual garbage some
companies promote that all parents "have to have"-baby bottle warmers,
special bibs and the like.
My favorite silly parenting aid was a 64 ounce pitcher for mixing formula.
It was covered in a baby bottle motif and had a special paddle for mixing
the formula thoroughly. It cost only $19.95!
If you've got something to mix up, what parent in their right mind would
spend $19.95 on a formula pitcher when you can go to your local discount
store and buy one for a few bucks? Then again, why not save even more
money and breastfeed your baby? Arggh!
Giving thanks for all of you and this list as Thanksgiving approaches...
