One of "the companies" has included a water bottle in its "breastfeeding
success pack", with the name of its synthetic baby milk company on the
bottle, of course. It also has a note encouraging the mothers to "drink
plenty of water every time" they nurse their baby, yet another "rule"
for breastfeeding. Is there any research that backs up this "rule"? --
better yet, is there any research that can be cited that shows that
drinking too many fluids can decrease milk supply. I remember reading
this in the past, but am not sure what the most current literature says.
