I am trying to gather a collection of the "most common" reasons mothers are
told or recommended to wean.  Such reasons need not be couched in reality
or in legitimacy.

If you have encountered a situation (one of those times we end up wanting
to hit our head against the wall at the bulls-eye spot, for example!) where
you learned of a situation after the fact, or when it was nearly too late
to do anything about it, could you get back to me---privately, please?

PS for the gardeners among you, would you believe I harvested 25 spaghetti
