While on my antique jaunt this week, I found what was labeled a nipple
cover. Looks like it is from the mid-East or India or a similiar part of
the world. It was pinned or sewed on the pregnant or nursing mother's
clothing over the nipple to give her a good milk supply. It is metal,
silver looking (I'm not familiar with the different types of metal), round
with a nipple-like projection that had a blue tip, and lots of dangling
metal pieces that would make a nice jingling sound whenever you moved. Is
anyone familiar with this and able to tell us more? I love finding these
new and unusual things while poking around in other's junk piles!
