The maximum safe dosage of ibuprofen is 3000 mg per day or 3 800mg doses
and 1 600mg dosage.  This won't cause liver damage.  If it did, there would
be millions of people who have arthritis going into liver failure.  I was
taking about this much for about the first 5 or 6 days following my birth
because of the afterpains when I nursed-call me a wimp.
