I would think it would be possible. What if mom picks up dad's or son's
socks or underwear off the bathroom floor(I'm sure no woman on this list
does this around her household)? What if he's got athlete's foot or jock
itch? I don't know much about jock itch but I think it's caused by fungal
overgrowth also. She could be in contact with it doing laundry, too, I
suppose. If she's not washing her hands, she could theoretically pass it
to her breasts, pacifiers or to the baby. I bet this is why it's
recommended that for persistent yeast, treat the whole family. Maybe the
"Yeast Queens" on the list could elaborate.
We see vaginal yeast and lactation related yeast year round here in Kansas,
but even more so in the summer months.
