Today, in Adelaide I attended a conference featuring Dr. James McKenna, Tom
Hale, Dr. Lawrence Gartner and Gay Palmer. It was real treat to hear and
meet these people whose work I have long admired. They were all such
excellent speakers. In particular I found Gay Palmer inspirational. It was
also a treat to attend a conference in my home State that I hadn't been
involved in organising. So I could sit back and relax and act like a sponge
- soaking up the presentations, rather than spending my time distracted and
worrying about organisational things.
Well I didn't make it to ILCA but this was a pretty good substitute. Maybe
ILCA another year.
