Not being a HCP, the detailed description of his woman's incision was a little
over my head. However, it sounds very similar to the surgery I myself had in
1991. I was able to breastfeed successfully and exclusively three years later.
I was unsure if breastfeeding would be possible from the affected left breast,
but the darn thing worked great! It was even a mixed blessing. Due to loss of
feeling(?) the milk "came in" several days later. But when we had thrush the
loss of feeling was a "godsend"! Good thing I didn't get thrush with my
second since nursing at that breast for 2+ years caused the feeling to return!
