Mom with deep vein thrombosis is put on three drugs: Lovenox (enoxaparin)
90 mg. SQ every 12 hours, Plavix (clopidogrel bisulfate) every day, and
Coumadin (warfarin) 10 mg. one day alternating with 5mg. the next.
Her doctor has told her she may not nurse because of the Coumadin and the
Plavix. I already looked up warfarin in the archives and saw that it was AAP
approved, tho' her doctor said it was contraindicated <snort>. Can't find any
info about the other two drugs. Anyone got any ideas? Are they reviewed in
Dr. Hale's book?
