Has anyone encountered a problem with a nursing mom taking acidophilus (to
prevent a yeast infection) causing GI upset in baby? I have a mom, 4-weeks
postpartum, who took acidophilus and 2-3 hours later, baby vomited 30-45
minutes after nursing. This continued for approximately 20 hours. Baby
vomited after each feeding. Mom had taken an amoxil prior to taking
acidophilus. I have never encountered this with the antibiotic, so I felt
it may be the acidophilus.

Thanks,

Judy Phillips
