This type of fungus on hands is usually referred to as housewife derm. If
you are losing fingernails(tinea unguium) then you need systemic tx. I've
been trying pulse therapy on my toenail fungus and I must say I'm impressed
with the results so far. Pulse therapy is take meds 2 x day for 1 week and
then repeat after 3 weeks for several months depending on the kind of med
used. Fingernail fungus responds faster than toenail fungus. There are
several drugs for this, terbinafine, itraconazole and fluconazole and
different routines. I've messed around with creams and lotions literally
for years with no results. Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
