I did not hear the story, nor have I seen the article.  However, it may be
"okay" to feed solids at 3 months, but there is usually no reason to do so.
If it is a question, in the breastfeeding baby, of solids or formula at
three months, I would go for solids, since it does not involve giving
bottles.
