yeah, informed consent about dry-up pills. that must the same kind of medicine
practiced in the expensive wing of the local hospital, where the mother was
given the "choice" of supplementing either by bottle or gavage tube (healthy
baby, just little) and not given a choice of breastmilk, either from the
mother or the milk bank, which is a TEN MINUTES DRIVE from this very hospital,
and not only that, part of the same hospital "chain" as well. she was so proud
they gave her the "choice" and she could choose the tube. and yet i was able
to speak to this in a calm voice . . . . i wish i could see the letter she
said she would be writing to them.
