It has been interesting to hear the ire and discontent of subscribers to
lactnet relative to CHope/Soap. Maybe there is an opportunity for a LC
involved in Corporate Lactation to call CBS Human Resources to determine
that corporations policy as it relates to Back to Work Breastfeeding.
Does their company benefits cover the cost of breastpumps for the parents
of a baby in Special Care Nursery?
Are prenatal classes that include BF information made available to
employees?
Do mothers returning to work have a place to pump while at work and
equipment available for pumping.?
Yadaydayada (there are many more concerns)
With CBS getting so much attention maybe it is time for some LC to help them
assess their needs and help initiate a program.
