Please, please, please be sure to temper your criticism with lots of praise
for the article itself. Salon has risked GFI wrath in running it, and they
are sure to hear from the GFI folks and other pro-Babywise Christians.
Salon's breastfeeding coverage in the past has been, shall we say, not
positive -- and we don't want them to become so afraid of "lactivists" that
they continue being negative toward breastfeeding. As I understand, they
specifically ran this concurrent with WBW. It is an important article and
that needs to remain the focus of any comments. Thanks!
