This is a letter (mostly) to the RDs on LACTNET. I think it very important
that you who are likely to be members of the ADA need to make clear to your
association how you feel about a web site that includes graphics of
artificial feeding. For an association that purports to support optimal
nutrition it seems a bit of an oxymoron to include a baby bottle on its web
page.
I wonder how many other associations link to the ADA, thinking it is a good
site to link to. Might the use of such a graphic dismay other
medical/nutrition-oriented/health care prevention-oriented, etc. sites and
possibly cause them to RETHINK (or even REMOVE?) their link?
