Yes, our efforts to respond to the media really are worth it.  Not only in the
case of responding to negative images and misinformation, but in expressing
appreciation for positive efforts.  For those of you who get Diabetes Forecast
or remember our discussion of it a few months back, I am happy to report that
my letter of appreciation to the editor was actually printed!  Not only that,
but the editor-in-chief wrote a response that included information about the
