Hi all

I'm working on an article on the benefits of bf for Natural Living Today, a
women's health magazine, and need a couple of references of
studies/research that would back up a claim that bf improves hand-eye
coordination (or formula feeding makes it worse) and how many calories a
mom burns just by bf. I've always heard 500, but the editor says she read
in _Our Bodies, Ourselves_ that it is 1000. That sounds awfully high to me.

I need these ASAP--anybody know offhand of some good studies I can track down?

Thanks in advance!

Melissa
