Yes, she did nurse the baby, who looked like almost a year old, with
appropriate nursing noises.  (Wonder who the advisor was?)  Then typically
they weaned the baby abruptly by having youth and family services remove
him from his mother's care because 1. she was homeless, 2. the baby was
anemic (horrors) 3. it wouldn't have made a good story if they didn't.  I
wonder what the abrupt weaning did to mom's shakey emotional state?  Ah
well, watched it to  the bitter end, but he never got to nurse again, poor
