Hello,
I am a La Leche League Leader in Misawa, Japan. I just had a phone call from
a mom and would like some info please.
Mom has a spot on her liver and has to go to hospital in a city 1 hour away
for an MRI. She has a 2 month old baby, exclusively breastfed, and is
concerned about the effects of the dye on her baby.
My only reference available is the Breastfeeding Answer Book (that I *dearly*
love), and it basically says to check with the Center for Breastfeeding
Information to find the must current info. I have written my PL (proper
person up the chain of command) but I will not hear from her in at least a
month- and the mom is supposed to go in about a week or two- so not enough
time to receive a response.
Thank you for any information you may have. Please respond privately, as I am
currently no-mail. Thanks again!
Tracy
