Many years ago a neighbor slashed his arm bike riding. Mom poured full
strength Hydrogen peroxide in the wound to clean it. When he arrived in the
ER the surgeon said he would not be able to suture the wound because the edges
were damaged from the Hydrogen peroxide. It had to heal by third intention
(granulation) and left a horrible scar.
I wouldn't recommend it for nipples. I have found Epsom salt soaks to be both
cleansing and healing.
