Also wanted to say that during my fun day speaking on breastfeeding at the
pediatric society meeting, the person chairing the meeting (without any
prompting from me:) I might add) held up a new copy of Tom Hale's book and
told all the assembled peds that this was the best $20 they'd ever spend.
It is so neat that we have all the wonderful resources people have sweated
to develop. They are being noticed, and are starting to make a difference
beyond our narrow spheres. We do have a bit of a tendency to speak only to
the choir in our profession (prob. because the rest of the congregation
hasn't always been real interested) but that is changing. So keep reaching
out with positive messages.
