Dear Cindy-
    No, I don't think that breastfeeding causes scarring and delays perineal
healing, BUT the low estrogen levels can cause vaginal dryness which can cause
pulling and pain at the sight if there is any, um, friction. I would consider
astroglide a better solution than weaning...
