Authors, obviously, cannot prevent readers from a) misunderstanding
statements in books we have written and/or b) USING those statements out of
context, to support their own view, etc.

Because we cannot control it, I have taken the view (in most cases) of
trying to forget about it.  However, in the case of individuals/groups
doing so in a manner that might potentially harm babies, I TAKE GREAT ISSUE
WITH IT and want to KNOW what was quoted, how it was quoted, and the
implication of that.  Simply making a biblio reference to a book and then
blithely going on with one's own view is impossible to prevent, but quoting
more specifically can sometimes be stopped.  BUt not without EXACT
information.  Please advise if you have seen such misuse of our work....
