I like Maurenne's suggestions of using full names; all those initials; city,
state, country; quotes, etc. It helps me to remember the people that I meet
on Lactnet. I'm relatively new to the list, so I don't know all of these
people. I recognize things like Peace River (I don't remember her name but
love the name of the place), Gloria in Hawaii, Susan in Iowa-is this heaven,
and so forth. You also have to be patient with old nurses like me. We weren't
even allowed to call each other by our first names, it was always Miss Smith
or Miss Jones. So if some of us have trouble calling a Dr. by his or her first
name, please be patient. Eventually we'll be able to do it.
Thanks.
