Hi everyone,

It was interesting to read the vent about what health food clerks and drug
store folks are saying to breastfeeding customers...I have recently been
dealing with a local pharmacist who "came unglued" (father's words) when he
asked for 2nd Skin (hydrogel dressing) for his wife's nipples.  The pharmacist
told the father that "he could not sell it to him for that purpose" and asked
for the number of who told them to use this product.  Luckily the father went
to another store and got it anyway.  The pharmacist did call me the next day
and was still adamant that the product was not to be used for such a purpose.
Apparently, he has spread the word to his pharmacist buddies because I have
had several additional calls from parents saying that pharmacists had told
them that this was an inappropriate use of the product.  YIKES.
