I just had the pleasure of attending the 8th Annual Breastfeeding
Seminar for Health Professionals in Toronto. I thoroughly enjoyed
all of the sessions especially those given by Lactnetters. Thank
you Marsha Walker, Tom Hale, and of course, Toronto's own Jack
Newman. I think I spent more money on INFACT t-shirts, posters,
buttons and videos than anyone else at the conference. Thank you
Jean Geary from INFACT which was one of the organizations that
sponsored this informative conference.
In reference to nursing babies at conferences, my 14 month old son
enjoyed the conference too. I received many comments about how well
behaved and amusing he was. Many of the speakers even thanked me
for bringing him so conference attendees could see an older baby
still nursing and being with his mum.
Lactnet even got mentioned a few times during the sessions.
