Jan (Y) writes,
<< The pharmacist did call me the next day
and was still adamant that the product was not to be used for such a purpose.
Apparently, he has spread the word to his pharmacist buddies because I have
had several additional calls from parents saying that pharmacists had told
them that this was an inappropriate use of the product. YIKES. >>
And Jan (B) who is STILL steamed about this sort of thing, is going to ask you
if there is any chance you can get the phramacist to give you ALL the
documentation that states it is DANGEROUS for bf babies to take br tissue into
the mouth that has had hydrogel dressing on it.
Gag.
Not only do we have to deal with PARENTS, and Ezzo afficianados (the "new"
edition of Babywise I & II is out -- beware -- it's dreadful, but the
dreadfulness is more subtle. Please note that all their "studies" are
"convenience" studies. how convenient!!), and recalcitrant health care
providers, but now it's clerks and pharmacists who are obviously NOT our
Frank, our Tom, or our Anne.
Sigh.
Jan Barger -- 16 days and counting.
