<< Jan,
Could you manage as oversupply? Sounds like it in many ways. Then again
does not fit a classic picture. But keeping baby on one breast longer may
help with mom's oversupply. Baby is a good gainer, may just want to
suckle an "empty " breast sometimes. What about "wearing" the baby?
Co-sleeping? Maybe baby just wants very frequent, close contact with
 mama. >>

We are doing that -- feeding 2 to 3 times per breast before moving to other
side. Baby seems to be able to manage "nursing" without "eating" when she's
full as sometimes she will stay on br for 20 minutes, "hanging out."
Interesting though that even with bottle (in which I generally find babies
take MORE, not less), she'll only take about 1.5 ounces. Doesn't object to
bottle, seems to enjoy daddy feeding -- just won't take any more than that,
and is ready to eat again in 1.5 hours or so.

Will keep you all posted. Thanks for the suggestions!

Jan
