This morning on the CBS morning program, a physician researcher reported
some new information on SIDS...he has studies that show a cardiac
problem " a longQ T phase"
which he thinks is the problem. When asked who should get screened, the
response was siblings of SIDS victims, premies. Protection? From the AAP
guidelines: back to sleep, firm matress in the crib, don't smoke. No
mention of breastfeeding or co-sleeping. Any one wish to join me in a
response to the program, Texas WIC Media Watch, etc.
