Dear Denise, my favorite continues to be normal saline soaks (1 cup water
+ 1/2 tsp salt). I never had much luck with br. milk applications. Tea
bags are messier than NSS soaks. No expensive products required for my
moist wound healing recipe. Fortunately with decent positioning being
understood by most perinatal nurses and pretty well publicized to moms via
most publications, we see less of the truly severe messed up nipples.
Gee I can't believe our area is finally ahead in one thing! Sincerely, Pat
in SNJ
