This reminds me -- many OB's tell nursing mothers at their post-partum check
not to bother coming back for their next breast exam until after their baby is
weaned, because they won't be able to tell what's normal bf fluctuation and
what's dangerous or a flag. I think most OBs say this assuming that bf will
be over within a few months anyway.

Now I think most intensive bf'ers know their breast pretty well and so would
tend to notice anything anomolous *for them* anway. But is this good or bad
advice, in your opinions, about waiting for a profession exam? Does maternal
age affect your answer?

Thanks.
