Babies do reach for anything at this age, but their obvious delight in
taking the food and eating it is apparent.

The fact that all babies do not seem interested at this age, as
mentioned in at least one post, is not surprising.  It would be
surprising if they *all* were.  I just think that mothers should not
ignore the signs of readiness to eat.
