Does anyone have a suggestion for reducing milk supply other than mint,
parsley and sage? The mother whom I'm working with had the same oversupply
problem with her first baby and struggled constantly to control it. She
even went to one breast for 4 feedings in a row. The other breast would,
of course, suffer, but otherwise her baby cried with lactose overload. Her
new baby is having the same problem.
She is going to concentrate on the three above herbs, but I want to know if
there is anything else.
Do you find that cabbage leaves relieve the over-fullness of the
"neglected" breast? Or is it just good for the swelling of engorgement?
I've never made up my mind on this issue.
How I wish I could average out this woman's supply with the mothers who
struggle to make enough milk.
