I would question the childs need for milk. Perhaps he avoids it because of the
taste or perhaps he is losing his lactase enzymes and unprocessed dairy gives
him gas or bloating or perhaps it is just a declaration of independence not to
eat what she wants the child to eat. If she takes a closer look at his entire
nutritional intake as well as his growth, and takes a look at other calcium
sources, his nutritional status will look better. At any rate it would take
the pressure off and then if he decides to nurse all the better.
