Hi all,
I'm back after not reading posts for weeks (ILCA, etc) and trying to catch
up.
There is another childbirth revolution in progress - the Mother Friendly
Childbirth Initiative put on by the Coalition for Improving Maternity
Services. CIMS (pronounced with the hard C [like K] so as not to be confused
with Sims forceps, and because Coalition starts with the K sound) is very
alive and well. Check out the Consensus Document at www.healthy.net/cims and
contact Lamaze International for more information www.lamaze-childbirth.com.

We really need a new childbirth revolution like in the late 60's- early
70's. Things are slipping backwards again folks! Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
