Hi all!
In response to the question on Calorad. Calorad is a collegen supplement.
The idea behind it, is that my supplementing the missing collegen in the
muscle tissue, the muscles become more firm, less likely to hold fat etc.
They say, you don't have to change the way you eat and you don't have to
exercise at all, and you will loose inches miraculously. I, myself, tried
this product aprox. 2 years ago and had a very negative reaction to it. I
was very restless, couldn't sleep and developed very painful muscle spasms
as a result of its use. It turns out that it is not recommended for people
with a thyroid condition, which I have. My concern with its use in bf is
that if it can cause restlessness and muscle spasms in an adult, could it
harm the baby if passed through milk?
Just, please excercise caution with a lot of these "weight loss miracle
supplements" out there. The old saying really does apply...if it sounds to
good to be true, it probably is.
Wishing you health and wellness!
