Yes Michelle, I counseled a women with 1 nipple similar to what you
discribed.  The OB told her not to expect to nurse well on that side, but
as your experience the baby prefered that side and did well. She did't pump
so I can't relate in this experience any milk production difference. Our
major concern was possible soreness due to rubbing which she never had or
chapping in the crevices which never happened.
